Game Reserve Wildlife Volunteer Tour

Min stay at project 2 weeks - You can enjoy this wildlife projects as part of a group, group sizes range from 6-12 persons. After completing the project we leave on a exciting Guided Tour of the Garden Route. After the tour you can return to any of the projects to extend your stay in South Africa.

This package can also be done as a individual, we will arrange you bus pass that will transport you from door to door and all your accommodation along the way. Volunteer Individual Tour

Game Reserve Volunteer Package: 21 Days

Day 1: Monday
Arrive Port Elizabeth - We will collect you in Port Elizabeth and transfer you to the Game Reserve. Read More on the Game Reserve Wildlife Project

Day 2 -5: Tuesday to Friday

Day 6-7: Saterday and Sunday
Evening day 5 you will be collected from the Game Farm and transferred to Port Elizabeth for the Weekend of leisure time to use or explore as you please. The evening of Day 7 you will be transferred back to the Game Farm.

Day 8 -12: Monday to Friday

Day 13: Saterday
Back to reality, The evening of Day 12 you will be collected from the Game Farm and transferred to Jeffreys Bay. Day 13 You will be spending a day in Jeffreys Bay catching up on some free time, calls, e-mail, shopping and more time for adventures. Overnight Beach Lodge.

Day 14: Sunday
We leave towards Tsitsikamma via the scenic roads. In Tsitsikamms we walk to the Big Tree. An optional activity is the Zip Line Adventure, with which you slide over a valley with waterfalls. Don't forget to leave your fears at home as we pass the highest bungy in the world on the way. Our overnight is in Tsitsikamma.

Day 15: Monday
From Tsitsikamma we leave to Knsysna and visit Monkeyland and Plettenberg Bay on our way. Optional Monkeyland is a sanctuary with all types of monkeys that live freely in the forest. A professional guide will lead you through the forest or Birds of Eden sanctuary with all types of birds that live freely in the forest or Elephant sanctuary where you can walk with the elephants or even ride on them.  Our overnight is in Knsyna.

Day 16: Tuesday
From Knysna we travel to Oudtshoorn along the Outeniqua Pass. We will make several stops along the way. Overnight is in Oudtshoorn.

Day 17: Wednesday
We visit the Cango Caves, the Ostrich Farm and optional is a visit to Buffels Drift Game Reserve or the Cango Wildlife Ranch. Overnight is in Oudtshoorn.

Day 18: Thursday
Travel along the R 62 to Cape Town. This will be a day travelling and sightseeing with different stops on our way. Overnight in Cape Town

Day 19: Friday
Today we explore the Cape Point with a visit to the Penguins in Simonstown and the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. Overnight in Cape Town

A free day to explore the city. Overnight in Cape Town

Transfer to the airport

Day 17:
Entrance to Caves and Ostrich Farms, Accommodation in Oudsthoorn, Sharing basis. Traditional Ostrich meal at Ostrich Farm and evening entertainment by locals.

Day 18:
Transfer to Cape Town, Accommodation in Cape Town, Dorm Room.

Day 19:
Entrance included for Cape Point with a visit to the Penguins in Simonstown and the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, Accommodation in Cape Town, Dorm Room.

Day 20:
Accommodation in Cape Town, Dorm Room.

Day 18:
Transfer to Airport or Jeffreys Bay to join projects.

Accommodation can be upgraded to Doubles or Singles.
