just amazing in their dedication to educate about 40-50 children

At the Lodge you will
receive orientation on what to expect and what you will be doing at the
project.
Use this time to meet other
like minded volunteers and to partake in a selection of activities and
excursions in the area.

Day 1
: Wednesday
On the First day
you will be collected from Port Elizabeth airport by our drive Shane to
your accommodation in Jeffreys Bay. There you have some time to relax
and to meet the other volunteers. Afterwards we will take you for a
walk over the beautiful beach of Jeffreys Bay where you will not only
find nice shells but probably also spot the first surfers catching
waves. Afterwards we are going to show you the centre with its famous
surf shops, restaurants and everything else you need to be able to find
during your stay here. When we return to the lodge you have some free
time to relax before we light the “braai” and have a delicious barbecue.
Day
2: Thursday
Today
is going to be a special day. First you will see lions and even stroke
lion cups in the Seaview Lion Park in Port Elizabeth. After that we are
going to visit the Kragga Kamma Game Park where you can see many wild
animals in their natural habitat during a game drive. Here you will have
the opportunity to interact with a Cheetah.
Day
3: Friday
Today
is the day for many new impressions during a township tour. In the
evening there’s an option to go to a local bar called “The Mexican” to
socialise.
Day
4: Saturday
After
breakfast we will take you to the local Surf Museum. In the afternoon
you can choose between a 2 hour surfing lesson or go horseback riding.
Day
5: Sunday
After
breakfast we will start this day with a visit to a local Church service
for those interested. In the Afternoon it’s free time for some
adrenaline. Time to go sandboarding, bungy jumping, riding elephants or
just chill for those that want to.
Evening traditional meal at Lodge (Potjiekos). (This
days activities is optional)
