"Volunteer work is not for the
faint-hearted, but the rewards are great”
Endangered
Species Project
This Project is set
up and managed by All Africa Volunteers assisting the Animal
Rehabilitation Centre between Port Elizabeth and Jeffreys Bay with
the daily care and funding to feed and care for stranded and injured
animals. This project was identified as having a true need for
volunteers to support with time and funding. We have introduced a
breeding program for endangered species like, Cheetah, Blue Duiker,
Servels and many other species to follow with the support from
volunteers and sponsors.
(Volunteers
applying for these projects must arrange their flight to Port
Elizabeth, South Africa)

Accommodation
The lodges are
located in the middle of the game area, surrounded by a variety of
animals. When you wake in the morning you are able to see giraffe,
tortoises, antelope, wildebeests, zebras, aardvark, springbok,
cheetah, birds and of course a beautiful sunrise over the reserve.
Could you morning start any better? Wait till you have breakfast in
the fresh clear morning air.
The lodge is
completely made out of wood, which gives you the ‘back to nature’
feeling.
There also is a
bar ‘The Waterhole’ where everyone comes together and you will be
able to enjoy drinks, have dinner and do a little dancing if you
like. Here you can taste Potjie, a typical South African dish made
with many different ingredients in cast iron pots on the fire.
