I've stayed in Jeffreys Bay for three weeks and worked as a volunteer at one of the schools in the township. The children at the Creche were very adorable and the two teachers were just amazing in their dedication to educate about 40-50 children every single day. Completed Projects All Africa Volunteers South Africa

Oyster Bay School
(First Group)

We started this project with 3 young Dutch Volunteers and a very small budget but we managed to make a substantial difference with this ongoing project.
 

Our aim was to level the school grounds and create runoffs for the rainwater flooding the school grounds.

(Second Group)

We started the second fase of work at the school in April 2008 with 14 Dutch electrical and plumbing apprentices.

The machines moved in to level the grounds, the boys raked the grounds level and planted the soccer goals and netball posts, the kids loved the first game on the fields against the volunteers.
