started in 2000 to organise tours for volunteers who works either in social or
nature projects.
After trying to find and
looking into existing projects and volunteer work to help the country
and the disadvantaged community in an interesting way for both the locals
and volunteers, We realised that
most projects are done and organized in the Western Cape and especially Cape
Town.
The Eastern Cape is the poorest and most rural of all the areas in South Africa with the greatest opportunities to make a difference.
Most
our projects start from Port Elizabeth, from where you will be transported
to your projects.
With the Eastern Cape in
mind, we contacted the Department of Social Development in Jeffreys Bay and Humansdorp to
find out if they have any projects available where volunteers can give a
helping hand. After many consultations and visiting the areas we identified
several projects in a very rural area with a unemployment rate of more than
80% and very few opportunities, the locals are very friendly where everybody
knows everybody and crime is a only a word in the newspapers.
All Africa Volunteers
is Registered Organization that deals direct with the projects to save admin costs to you and to ensure that all funds go directly to the projects you are trying to support.
We do not waste costs on booking flights, arranging visa, insurances ect. be
realistic if you cant book your own flight what good can you do for the
projects.
We are based in Jeffreys Bay so we offer projects in our general area to be close by to offer any assistance needed.
We collect you from the airport from where we arrange your projects,
accommodation and take care of all your needs until returning you to the
airport, All project bookings are done via our Office in

Our base Volunteer Lodge
is located in Jeffreys Bay
J Bay Lodge from where we operate our community project and
volunteer orientation, Volunteers from all the other projects
frequently visit here on their days off.
We have been
operating since 2000 and have brought hundreds of happy customers

Voluntary Association (VA). All proceeds from this site and the projects
on this site is used for community upliftment projects in South Africa and
saving our endangered species.
